All resort cottages include stunning lake views of and private access to beautiful Chub Lake, full kitchen and bathroom with hot running water (taken directly from the crystal clear spring-fed lake and purified to the highest standards), propane or wood burning fireplaces, comfortable beds with high thread count linens, a private dock, a deck with barbecue and complimentary propane, access to the communal fire pit and sand beach, free use of canoes and kayaks, access to wood burning sauna and complimentary high speed wifi. Boat and motors and private campfire pits can be rented upon request. The resort is perfectly located to make the most of nearby scenic drives and gorgeous hikes.

Newly built or renovated within the last ten years, these cottages are bright and airy with special touches - like wood-burning stoves, screened in porches, high ceilings, hardwood floors and washers and dryers - that add that extra feeling of elegance to your wilderness getaway.

This light-filled, fully winterized three bedroom cottage (formerly Cabin 4) is what cabin dreams are made of. Located in a secluded spot with a private dock, it boasts panoramic lake views, a large screened in porch with patio table and chairs, a cozy wood burning stove and brand new appliances including a washer and dryer. In the winter enjoy snowshoeing, cross country skiing, tobogganing and ice fishing right from your front door.

Cedar Cabin features two queen beds, one double bed and an open concept kitchen/living/dining room overlooking the lake.

This gorgeous three bedroom cottage (formerly Cabin 9) is very private, located at the end of the resort property and surrounded by towering hemlock trees. You’ll love the beautiful screened in porch, cozy propane fireplace, spacious kitchen and comfortable lounge area with a huge picture window overlooking the lake. A large kitchen and washer and dryer make this a true home away from home.

Hemlock Cabin features two queen beds, two single beds and an open concept kitchen/living/dining room as well as a washer and dryer.

This recently renovated two bedroom cottage (formerly Cabin 7) is very spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that let in lots of sun dappled light, filtered through the soaring heritage maple and birch trees that surround it. This darling cabin has all the modern comforts while maintaining its original vintage vibe. A large deck for barbecuing and a cozy propane fireplace make it a special place to relax and unwind.

Built in the 1940s by the current owner’s great grandparents, these beautifully maintained cabins exude a cozy vintage vibe while providing all the modern conveniences you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

This sweet one bedroom vertical log cabin (formerly Cabin 6) - lovingly referred to as the ‘honeymoon cabin’ - is very private and serene, set away from the other cabins and surrounded by towering conifers. If you want to up the romance factor even further, you can take the path down to your own secluded dock and enjoy the sunset on the water with a glass of wine in hand.

Spruce Cabin features one double bed and an open concept kitchen/living/dining room overlooking the lake, with a cozy propane heater for warmth.

This cozy two bedroom vertical log cottage (formerly Cabin 1) was the first cabin built on the property, and served as the original homestead. It still has that cozy homey feeling, with a propane fireplace and breathtaking sunrise views adding to the ambiance. The cabin is conveniently close to the common area and campfire pit, but maintains privacy with its own dock and access to the beach.

Rowan Cabin features two double beds and an open concept kitchen/living/dining room.

Walk right out onto the beach or your private dock from this classic three bedroom cabin (formerly Cabin 3). Located on the water and close to the common area, play structure and campfire pit, this is a great choice for larger families and those with young kids.

Oak Cabin features three double beds, a large open concept kitchen/living/dining room and a charming sun room with beautiful lake views.

The setting.

The resort property is set on twelve acres of mixed coniferous and hardwood forest, with 400 feet of sandy shoreline perfect for even the youngest of swimmers. The resort is laid out so that all eight cabins have considerable privacy, with their own parking spot and private dock. Chub Lake is a large, quiet spring-fed lake that connects to three other lakes, all of which are surrounded mostly by uninhabited crown land and contain a variety of species for those wanting to try their hand at fishing. The resort is located in the heart of the beautiful Mississaugi River Valley, well known for having some of the most breathtaking scenic drives and hikes in the province, including Aubrey Falls and Rock Candy Mountain.
